Tending Congregational Life: Guiding the Membership Journey
(UU Institute Class 220)

Instead of focusing on growth for its own sake, this class focuses on the transformative power that UU has in people’s lives and how our congregations can provide a welcoming and inclusive experience for everyone who comes through our doors.

  • Welcome/Engagement/Retention
  • Some Shared Ministry (inviting engagement in ways that nourish; working with staff, teams, lay leaders and committees towards the congregation's mission)

This class, first offered in 2024, may be taken by individuals or groups at a cost of $30 per person through the UU Institute.

Co-Creating Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity on our Congregations
(UU Institute Class 107)

Teaches how to use the Intercultural Development Continuum (IDI) tool as part of your congregation's faith development program.
